Found a good job!

I used NexGen Virtual to look for solar jobs and found one pretty quick. The site was easy to get around, and applying was straightforward. Happy with the outcome, honestly.

Such a great resource!

Oh my goodness, NexGen Virtual is absolutely amazing! I've been looking for wind power careers for ages, and their listings are so comprehensive. I found several promising roles right away. The job alert subscriptions are super helpful too, keeping me in the loop. I'm definitely going to use them again for my next career move and tell all my friends in green tech about it!

Good value for job credits

As a new recruiter, I was looking for the best deal on posting jobs. NexGen Virtual offered a new recruiter trial, which was pretty handy. I got some bulk job credits that made posting several electric vehicle infrastructure roles much more affordable than I expected. It felt like a good investment, especially compared to other platforms I checked out. Definitely got my money's worth and then some with the reach it gave us.

Mostly good, one small issue

I signed up for their job alert subscriptions and it worked well enough, I got notifications for relevant clean technology roles. The variety of jobs listed was impressive, covering a lot of areas. However, I noticed that some of the listings seemed to stay up a bit longer than I'd expect, even after application deadlines passed. It wasn't a huge deal since there were plenty of fresh ones, but it could be improved for a cleaner experience. Overall, it's a solid platform for finding renewable energy jobs and I'd use it again, but a little more curation on old posts would be nice.

Always reliable for postings

I've used NexGen Virtual a few times now for hiring manager tools and featured job postings. This time, I posted a couple of grid modernization jobs, and like before, the process was smooth. The applicant tracking system integration has always been consistent for us, which saves a lot of time. It's why we keep coming back; no surprises, just a solid platform that gets our listings seen by the right people in the renewable energy sector.

Is NextGen legit? Saw some good listings but wanna make sure it's not a scam or anything before I put my info out there.

N Nina H. 2 months ago
Totally legit. I landed my current solar engineering role through them. They're pretty focused on the renewable sector.

Yeah it's real. Used it for a while now, way better than just sifting through LinkedIn for green jobs. Never had any issues.

Are job seekers ever able to use discount codes? Or is it just for companies posting jobs?

S Sam 2 months ago
Nah, job seekers don't usually get codes. The site is free for us anyway. Discounts are always for the employers.

I've never seen one for job seekers, myself. Everything like applying and setting up alerts is free, so no real need for a code.

Has anyone used both NextGen and Climatebase? Trying to decide which one to focus on for my job search in wind power.

C Colin 1 month ago
NextGen seems more specialized just for renewables. Climatebase is good too but feels a bit broader, like it covers more general 'green' jobs. Depends on how niche you wanna go.

I've used both. NexGen felt like it had more direct wind power roles. Climatebase sometimes had more policy or general sustainability stuff.

Hey, wondering if anyone's had luck with a promo code for employers posting jobs? Trying to get a good deal for my company.

M Mia 2 months ago
Yeah, I got one in an email last year. Seemed like it was targeted, not just a general code you find online. For bulk job credits I think.

They usually send them out directly to businesses, especially if you're buying a bunch of job credits. I've never seen a public one, just email stuff.

How often do new jobs get posted here? Don't want to check every day if it's super slow.

M Mia H. 1 month ago
It feels like pretty often, especially around the start of the year or after big conferences. I get alerts for new ones almost daily sometimes.

Depends on the sector you're looking at, but I've noticed a decent refresh rate. Definitely worth signing up for the job alerts.
